The first GPS400 conference was held at the Department of Culturural Sciences at the University of Gothenburg 8–9 November 2017.

During two intense days, international experts met with local, regional and national representatives from universities, authorities, and institutions to discuss digital, site-specific, and collaborative solutions for humanistic interaction in the urban environment, with a particular focus on Gothenburg cultures during four hundred years. The conference also presented ideas, results, and ongoing and upcoming projects and applications.
